2018 Regional Summit

Plan to attend the Northeast Oklahoma Regional Alliance 10th Annual Summit as we take a look back at NORA's impact on northeast Oklahoma's regional economy over the last decade and learn the future trends we can build on to create a stronger regional economy. Speakers and workshops are designed to help communities, businesses, and organizations discover how focusing on the future and wealth generation practices can build a stronger northeast Oklahoma. More than 300 stakeholders from the region will be on hand to collaborate and participate in this one-day event.

Dr. Russell Evans is an Associate Professor of Economics and the Director of Economic Research and Policy at Oklahoma City University where he specializes in economic forecasting, impact analysis, and custom policy modeling . Dr. Evans will discuss NORA's impact on northeast Oklahoma over the last decade and how we can set the stage to enhance collaborative efforts and maximize regional growth opportunities.

Dr. Andy Hines is Program Coordinator at the University of Houston's Graduate Program in Foresight and uses his experience as a consultant and his expertise as an organizational and academic futurist to identify developing trends to help organizations stay ahead of the curve . Dr. Hines will illustrate in a practical and meaningful way how the NORA region and our local communities can use foresight to develop actionable goals to grow our region .
