MISSION STATEMENT
The Northeast Oklahoma Regional Alliance (NORA) fosters collaboration among business, tribal, community, education, and economic development leaders to advance the growth, prosperity, and vitality of Northeast Oklahoma. By leveraging regional resources, addressing shared challenges, and advocating for regionalism, NORA works to create opportunities for economic, social, and cultural development while amplifying our region’s story as a vibrant place to live, work, and thrive.
The Northeast Oklahoma Regional Alliance (NORA) unites leaders and communities to drive sustainable growth, foster innovation, and expand opportunities, building a stronger, more vibrant future for the region.

As our mission statement explains, the Northeast Oklahoma Regional Alliance (NORA) fosters collaboration among business, tribal, community, education, and economic development leaders to advance the growth, prosperity, and vitality of Northeast Oklahoma. We do this within the 15 counties in the northeast region of Oklahoma. Specifically, we represent the following counties: Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Delaware, Mayes, McIntosh, Muskogee, Nowata, Okmulgee, Osage, Ottawa, Rogers, Sequoyah, Wagoner, and Washington.
